I ended up graduating cause barely passed and did pretty good my years before. Senior year was a rough year for me.

I went for 1 semester and was living in my own and didn't do very good. After that I got an entry level job doing drafting at a structural engineering firm because of someone I know and have been taking classes specifically for drafting and not going for a degree. It doesn't work like that for everyone but it's what worked for me and I love it. I'd rather work 40+ hours a week and slowly take classes that pertain to what I am doing in my career than take some bullshit world religions class that I don't give two shits about.

Kyle just apply in the construction field! Once you earn your right of passage they will see that and that's easy to move up. Since your white, they will most likely make you a manager or something. (disclaimer: im mexican so i can say that stuff)

But really once you prove yourself a this sort of field it's easy to advance as long as you can do the work and know what you are doing. I told my boss I wanted to get my degree and he said don't bother. If you ever want to work somewhere else you will have hundreds of hours on autocad and experience working in the real world...

definitely good options here guys. Thinking about going full time at discount for a while and seeing how that goes. Definitely be fun to be a lineman, not sure how you get into that field though!

If i do end up taking time off of school, i gotta find somewhere to live. Parents say no school, not live in their house

Do what you want to do man. But on the other hand you need to be able to live. So if you can't support yourself off of your discount tire income then be smart about it and go to school...

i dont think it is a "cant support himself" but more of a "because racetruck" thing.

I think that goes for most of us
