    If you look inside the side of the bumper you will see a brace. I cut up to that brace to keep it in tact. But yeah you really don't need to weld on the plate, grind it down, and paint it. Just leave it open. It looks fine.

    Come on down if you are bored. Pretty sure I am installing an ARB bumper this weekend, maybe some bumps, swinging a BFH with Bob, and if I am lucky I will get my HID conversion done in my 8" rounds.
