    Hello everyone,

I just purchased a used 2008 SR5 Sport 4x4 and am super pumped because I have wanted a Tacoma for a while and I finally have one. I don't really know what to say here so I will leave this short...if you want to know anything, just ask.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I will get a pic of my truck up soon. I am already getting mod fever, I am thinking of either a leveling kit or a small body lift and some tires....but it will probably have to wait until I actually need new tires.

Welcome! IMHO the 08' is the best year. Most of the BS was worked out by
then and it's a year before all the VSC crap got added in.

Do some research before spending your hard earned cash. Leveling kits and body lifts generally suck and aren't worth the money IMO.

You can almost fit 34" tires on these trucks with no lift if you do it right.

This should get you started http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/7174-2nd-gen-tips-mods-more.html#post72062
