That's good stuff! Granted it's not long range, but I enjoy teaching friends and the wife when we're at the range and watching them smile when their groups start tightening up!

I knew you were. I was just giving you a hard time and taking a stab at the current POTUS at the same time. It's how I roll.

Not really much cheaper but a hair maybe.

All the mags in the world don't mean much if they don't have ammo loaded into them...

BTW, I ordered 500 rounds of .40 S&W last night. It was about $150 with shipping so somewhere about 30 cents per round. I really need a lot more money so I can fully set up my truck and get all the guns I want.

I am starting to look into getting a shotgun. I am going with a 12 gauge pump. Looked at Remington 870, and Mossberg 500 and 590. Any suggestions from the more experienced gun owners out there?

I was joking because the way you worded it made it sound like you were saying to your father that he had to have 3x the mags and then after quoting my pics you said there they were. lol I was making terrible jokes once again obviously. :D

Oh, I've got plenty of ammo too. No worries there. ;)

Wait, did I just say that? I mean I don't have enough ammo. It's NEVER enough! :p

Of those I'd go 870. Try to spend a little more to get a Police version as opposed to an Express.

Plenty means you have enough to get through today.
Enough means you have enough to get through the rest of this life and all of the next. Plenty is definitely less than enough.
How much money or how good of a thief you are determines which of those points you are at

I've never owned an 870, but from what I understand, their police models are top notch for a low end price shotgun

My 500 ran great with no issues

My 590 takes everything I can throw at it and has zero issues...I had to run a re cert course with it 2 weeks ago in a monsoon...no issues whatsoever

My $150 High Standard Vietnam era pump is just as good if not better than either of my Mossbergs, but quite a bit heavier but is smooth as butter

From what I've read, if you are looking into a 870 Express, you're better off just going with a H&R Pardner. 870 clone built by Norinco in China

Ostrichsak is going to be laughing through this but go with the 870, Mossberg's customer service is absolutely terrible. I had a simple issue with a new 535 and they've been non-existant. It's a nice gun, and I ended up fixing it myself but I shouldn't have had to do so.

I have a Pardner pump that I bought for something like $170.00. It's a good gun and almost an exact copy of the 870. H&R is not a norinco gun. H&R is owned by the Freedom Group who also owns Remington.

IMO buy an 870 to be an 870 and buy a bullpup to be a bullpup. Just my $0.09 adjusted for inflation.
