Hey guys, Figured after all the hoopla I'd let ya'll know the truck went bye bye yesterday. bitter sweet moment. Miss my dream taco, love the MPG's and Paid off feeling. Ended up getting a Honda Accord 4cyl 5spd, loaded with options. 39k miles, on a '07. One of those certified preowned jobs. I must say... it drives awsome. We'll see how it treats me long term. Dealership gave me a heck of a deal, so I ran with it... not even worth messing with selling it outright after the taxes, getting a rental car for 2 weeks etc. If I need a truck later on in life, I'll evaluate exactly why and what kind I need and make sure I get just that. I still want a Toyota 4x4 for a weekend truck.... someday.

That sucks man! Honda's are great cars! My wife has an '09 Pilot, it's not the best looking SUV but this thing is loaded and the quality is top notch. My brother just bought a fully loaded '09 Accord and I love it. The V6 is fast too.

Based on your sig it sounds like you had a great start on the Tacoma. Did you pull any of the aftermarkert parts off to sell?

Suck you had to trade but I know what you mean, you got your priorities right that's all that matters. Also, where's the pics of the new ride?

Well I put about 50 miles on it today, can't say how much fun that car is to drive!! It's very Supra-ish in driving style. Minus it's 4 doors, 4cyl and FWD lol. But you get my point. It's very comfortable, refined, responsive and FUN!!! So far I'm very glad I did this deal. Car looks brand-new almost. Yeah, have to get priorities straight. I grew up with, and still see around here, a lot of people that live in a trailer and have a F350 on 38's, and all decked out. I feel much more comfortable now with a paid off car that I truely enjoy to drive, and it's efficient and cheap to maintain. Rather start paying my house off and living the Dave Ramsey way. That dude should be president.

^I can't argue with that. I know for sure we wouldn't be bankrupt if he was.

As for the little bit of Utility needs, if they arrise quite often. I've looked into a small utility trailer. This car tows 2,000 #'s. So I can easily tow a 6x10 utility trailer with junk on it when/if the need arrises. and when not in use.. 99.99% of the time I'm getting great MPG's. I'm not getting a hitch until the need comes up.

True, I finally started kinda waking up on it all and trying to pay stuff off sooner, but I'm still not going as far as ramsey's bit. If I did that, I wouldn't have the tacoma either... and hell, gotta have toys :D
