Yea dude...we left yesterday. Decided to make the trek home earlier. The guys we were suppose to meet up with broke pretty bad earlier on in the week so they went home as well.

    Until next times guess...!

I must say, I'm pretty impressed with the MTR's. I ran 8lbs from the start of are first trail day right to the morning we packed up camp. Never aired up once. Sometimes running 20miles of highway driving.

Not a single tire failure or blown bead.

    Goodyear for the win!

5 in the winter and 8 in the summer!! And I was incredibly surprised at how well I could turn after switching to high temp Redline Synthetic in the rack. Pump didn't whine, squeal or nothing. Stuffs expensive but well worth it

Wow! 8 and 5 is low on those stock wheels! The lip is not that good on the factory rims.

I usually run 15 to 16 in the rocks lol

I've ran 5 to 6 in the snow, one tire must have dipped down lower because I lost a bead.

I honestly never have had an issue with running low pressure. Especially in the winter here haha. It's pretty much open field or boring ass sled trails haha.

Moab is ledge after ledge (as I'm sure you know) so driving smart is usually the difference between blowing beads or crawling it. The really only spot I had to give a decent bump was golden staircase. There was a truck broke on the left side of it, so we were forced to go straight up the middle. Which sucked because it was my exact wheel base haha.

Long story short, even with a hard bump I didn't hit rim :)

Id have to say one of my favorite ledges/walls in Moab was "The Butt Scratcher" on Gold bar rim. We watched a brand new 5th Gen runner absolutely destroy his ARB front bumper trying to get up. Those things have the lowest approach angle. EVER. Lol

Then came the rear bumper....bent and ripped up:) I even offered to stack rocks for the guy but he insisted on going without.

I might have to try switching to the redline if it helped. Mine will whine and get super stiff from time to time on the trails.

The pics look awesome out there, I really cant wait to go. Only 2 more years and I'll make the trip. Also have to love running factory wheels and airing down, I've been going down to 12/10 on mine which is plenty and gives me stupid amounts of traction.

Did you drain entirely and refill. I've done a flush a little while back but fluid is still nasty.

Bwahaha I love watching people destroy their shut there. Quite the show. And joe actually had the same lrobl last year. Was doing golden staircase and was all "I'm going to make his look so easy" so he put in both lockers and started up this thing and just had a hell of his time because his wheel base just the same length of the ledges. But I just walked up the thing with no drama. Was pretty funny.

Ya when I blew a bead I was trying to carry speed and was bouncing ina me out of ruts and hugging a wall. Might have had something to do with it

Yea it seemed like a lot of people were having troubles. We passed Larry from Poison Spider on gold bar rim who had a blown R/P on a rock jock 60? Like...that's one tough freakin axle and it managed to break? Who knows what they were up to, could have weakened earlier on in the week?

The little toyota that could I guess hahah

Wicked pics mang! Thanks for sharing.

Where did you buy the Redline steering fluid? I've got to do a steering flush next weekend before I leave for Moab. I'd like to pick some up here in Calgary if I'm able. Maybe I shall text you...
