    Thanks, now I just need my ds spacer so I can drive it without worrying about tearing up the carrier bearing. Ordered it this afternoon should be here in a couple days, I'm also buying Tac1's beefed taco cb drop.

    Did you measure to insure you ordered the right spacer. I got it right on my second order..lol Sit 27.25" front and 27.5" Rear with no vibs. rids smooth as glass. I like the green bro.. Unique.

    Hi all,
    Yesterday I install my spindle lift kit, everything went fine and bolt right up. The only problem that I was having was bleeding the brakes, the fluid came out without bubbles but the pedal was soft. In my quest to find the cause I notice a scoring sound in the front wheel. When I check, the caliper was hitting the brake rotor, I thought that I install it without having the brake pad in the correct position. But when I'm disassembling the brake caliper I notice that the brake rotor was very loose and have a lot of play. When I remove the wheel bearing a saw a grove on the spindle of about a 1/4" and a lot of metal debris. The scoring sound was the wheel bearing eating through the spindle. Now I have a bad wheel bearing and I'm trying to find some one to have a press to remove the old wheel bearing.

    I call to Headstrong off road and they where very helpful, they told me that maxtrack contact them about an issue with the spindles but she can tell me exactly what issue was, so she gave me the phone of maxtract to call them.

    In maxtrack I talk with Bob, he also was very helpful and explain to me that they have that issue with about 4 customers before.

    The cause is that the sleeve that the wheel bearing have, they don't come with an exact measure from factory, some came longer than other. I don't have any problems with the other side. They told me that they are making the spindles a little deeper to avoid that in the future, but the quick fix is to grind the sleeve down so it don't hit the spindle.


    I attach the photos and the solution that Bob send me for future reference and that you check if the wheel bearing is spinning freely, and not how I do:(.

    Yeah man these things are cast iron. That little groove ain't going to hurt anything. Check out nsf257's build. If he can do what he did to his and the spindle still hold up fine then I have no doubts on that statement.
