    it's weird how much tacomas vary on MPGs how some get as good as a 4 banger honda civic and others as bad as a full sized truck. Whatever I'm happy with getting 32 mpgs.

    Yep!

    Though it would be nice to have my civic back for work but I guess I'm fine with 32 mpg, whereas I was getting like 65 mpg with my 95 civic.

    When I lived in Tucson, I got 21mpg no matter what. Moved to Albuquerque and get 17-18mpg no matter what. Even with the added armor, 33s, 4:56 gears and lift

    Disbelieve all you want but I've been tracking it since I bought the truck, calculating after every fill-up. Adjusted my spreadsheet when I installed the gears and 33s (actual is ~7% less than odometer). Pavement driving, I get 17-18 mpg. When I go off-roading, it'll drop into the 15-16 mpg range.
