Typical! Wait till you have a problem with a product as well... Customer service gets worse then.

Sorry we've been slammed, I've not had much time lately to get to emails, and no time to get to the forums. Things are getting better now with a new employee that is doing great. What's up?

Couldn't be farther from the truth if you'd bother to pick up the phone or actually work WITH us! But you'd rather just belittle us on the forums. If you'd like to knock that crap off and call me I'd be happy to talk with you

    Thanks Adam they look good.

I have the XJ shackles I will be using and they are not a snug fit at all. What should I use for a "spacer" to fix the gap? Anyone deal with this?

Our Shackle Flip kit is designed to work with the factory shackle. The Jeep shackle is narrower than the one Toyota uses. I personally have not fit up a set of the XJ shackles, how much gap is there?

you either use a few fender washers or have/make a delrin bushing set made like I did, its 1/4 inch total or 1/8 either side, don't try to pinch together.

New beefer shackles going on this weekend

    ^:drool::drool:^

I received my ATO shackle Flip kit today, thanks Adam, now i'm just waiting on all the rest.
Super psyched to get all my stuff together for a whole new suspension, can't wait to start wrenching (and probably some cussing involved......and beer).

Should I powder coat, paint, put some kind of coating on my brackets for the flip kit?

just rattle can them. everything on the truck should be touched up with spray paint every so often as you see stuff starting to rust.

to save some cussing spray nuts and bolts that have to come apart, with pb blaster days before you're going to work on it so they come apart easier.

Yeah, I some stuff that works wonders for that. It is a penetrating oil called Airokroil, i think that is how it's spelled, I had planned on it anyway.

Does anyone know if the OME nitrocharger 9000 rear shocks would work with the flip kit?

We are about to find out. This is the only thing i'm worried about, but if it comes down to it, I could probably remove a leaf, or just get extended shocks.

Probably not, if you check the extended and collapsed length you'll know for sure. For reference the bilstein b110 shocks are the correct extended length but the collapsed length is too long so I'm using hockey pucks as bump stop extensions.

B110s are cheap enough. And removing a leaf wouldn't help you. You're still going to have too much droop for the shocks.

I should be fine for normal day to day driving for now though correct?
Most of the offroad driving I do is logging roads, or dirt roads down to the rivers. Not really much need for flexing the suspension out.

If you don't need the flex, why go through all the work to do the flip kit?
That's the whole point of it anyway...

Future. I figured if I am going to tear it all apart to put the leafs in, I might as well go ahead and change it all out at once.
