This is from the street view car, so the vantage pojnt is actually little higher than most cars, but even halfway under the bridge you can still clearly see the lights ahead. This is traveling the direction the van was, and same direction most of the wrecks occur from.

This is the exact light in question. Nathan posted this picture a few pages back. he even took it from the same lane the van was in. light is clearly visible, even before you start to go under the bridge.

Why did they stay in the middle of the road for so long? You would think that something that small wouldn't have caused enough damage to be able to get out of the way of everybody else haha

Wtf was that about? lol And I never understood why people don't get out of the road when the wrecks are simple like that one.

Completely agree. Here on the interstates there are signs that indicate if you get into a fender bender, move the vehicles to the side of the road if safe to do so.

The sad thing is that's just common sense. It's kinda dangerous to be in the middle of the intersection like they were...

Same things with cops pulling people over. Some people stop right where they are in the middle of the road and yet the cops never say anything. I'll drive until I can pull off. I'd like to see more cops tell them to pull around the corner or something.

Last time I got pulled over it was super dark so I drove until I was out of the road and in a well lit area.
