So I am done cleaning out my last round of supplements and am ready to try something new. Typically I stick with products from Optimum, Universal Animal, and BSN. I am looking to see what your guys' thoughts are on the Arnold Series from MusclePharm. I used their products in 2010/11 when there was no Arnold Series and for the most part liked their product aside from the BCAA blend making me shit like crazy. Is it worth buying into Arnold's name or do you guys think it is just what it seems...put Arnold's name on it and it will sell?

Never tried any Arnold Series stuff, but I've only heard good things about MusclePharm. They tend to be a bit pricey though (especially the Arnold Series stuff). Any product with an athlete's name on it is, as you put it, "just what it seems." I stick with ON because it's amazing quality, simple, and cheap...no b.s. about 'performance matrix', 'blends' or all that jazz, just simple protein, pre-workouts, etc. But if you wanna try something new and don't mind paying more for the same type of product, MP is a solid brand

This is exactly why I stick with ON. I know Universal has all those catchy words and what not but I've had nothing but good experience with their stuff. I'm sure MP has put the time and research in to coin a separate line with the Oak's name on it but to your point...$$ at the end of the day.

The Arnold Whey tasted terrible, and was thicker than the ON. Wasn't a fan.

I read that anytime you see the word 'matrix' or 'blend', it translates to filler lol. MP is a great company, but they're also the new "edgy" and "cool" company, so they're gonna be expensive. I like to go with what I know is awesome and cheap, so I stick with da ON

Ever since I've tried ON's whey, I've never had any reason to try anything else...I almost tried a jug of Wal Mart's whey because it's just so cheap, but then I wondered what type of protein R&D team Wal Mart has and decided to stick with ON lol
