    The Toytech shims comes with an extra/longer pin. Just not sure what the "collar" was OZ-T was refering to :notsure:

    Hmm, maybe Im missing something but I dont see what the "collar" is... Am I overcomplicating this?

    The shims come with an extended center pin which I understand needs to be installed on the leafs. But what is the "collar?"

    2 is good, you might be able to find them at home depot, just make sure they are 3/8ths.

    Pretty sure it will be hand tools :( I have a compressor but no gun. Lol. And I read on ttora that the center pin in the Dakars are long enough for the AAL Edit: good news. Found out Sunbelt rents air guns :)

    Center pin is long enough for the AAL. I had to drill out the bumpstops a little to fit the pin in it though. No biggie, took 10 seconds on each one.

    This. Also, I have yet to find a nut on the truck my hf electric impact can't handle, fwiw. Some things are a bit tight for anything but a right angle air wrench tho...

    Thanks everyone for all the useful tips! :thumbsup: Wish it was next Friday already! Haha just wanna make sure, but the AAL will be the new 3rd leaf down from the top? Go in order by length, is what I have read somewhere. Longer part goes towards the rear. I will just rent in air gun from Sunbelt, only like 40$ for the day lol. To cheap to go by one. Plus just spent $530 on a crown today :(

    Is that collar thing necessary when adding axle relocation plates?

    They're not required for relocation plates, only if your adding shims.

    What were the before measurements? Can you raise the front with the equipment you just installed or would you need to buy a spacer for the front? Did you have to relocate the valve in the back for the brakes?

    The fronts were around 35 with dead shocks, factory springs and 170K on the clock.

    The rears were about 36ish with flat leaf springs and more dead shocks.

    The lift is not adjustable like say, an adjustable coil over set up. But with an adjustable set up all you are really doing is adding a pre load to the spring to achieve a desired lift.

    This kit is a stronger spring rate than the factory front springs. The rear have more leafs, are new and don't sag like the factory ones.

    I didn't do the brake valve relocate yet but I will have to do that ASAP just so I can sleep better at night.

    All that said, I have read many peoples comments about their set ups using OME parts, and they will settle a bit, so the final measurements will be less once the system finds out where it wants to be.

    Overall I am extremely pleased with the kit from Wheeler's Offroad thus far.

    Looks nice! Wheelers is def good to deal with :) I'm needing a bpv bracket too...
