Weekly Photography Challenge Thread (see first post rules and then the poll at top before entering)

Ill clarify something for post editing part of this.

You can do anything you want to your image WITHIN the camera.

HOWEVER!

for those using phones/ipads/ect...IF you have to open a different application to edit it..that is post processing..and not allowed.

But if you have a mirrorless camera of some sort that has some basic edit features in it...go for it. Its still in the camera or camera app so to speak.

Word. NO touching the photo after it went click or was exported from the camera.

 

what if the app I use to take the picture with also has editing software within the app

 

like instagram?

fair game.

Long as it doesn't LEAVE the actual app that took the photo.

You can't like take a photo with your camera app, then use aviary to edit it.

Should've taken one of the water access covers with all the pipes and spigots on it; those are cool!

 

Came out awesome, I'm going to dirty jersey for AMA supercross Saturday and I was thinking I could use a bike but I can't lol they're mostly aluminum.

 

Here is my photo for the week: Big Wind turbine, gotta be some steel in there! Took this west of Portland, Texas. North of Corpus Christi, Had to take a few back road to get close enough to one of these giants, but I managed to get a bunch of nice shots.

Shot with my Sony Nex-6, which is mirror less so I had a little fun playing with the settings to make the picture.

Steel is the theme for the week. Doesn't have to be metal could be someone with nerves of steel, or the man of steel, or . . . I don't know, haha but doesn't necessarily have to be the obvious.

 

I knew you were going to think of something like that. I considered pm'ing it to you in case you hadn't thought of it but figured I'd stay out of it.

Haha I like to think outside the obvious but that also means I don't always get a good shot for the week ha oh well. I'll keep an eye out.
