I've got the Wilson 1000 as well but the mag mount one. Plan to change to a hard mount one when I get a roof rack figured out.

    Also a Public Service Announcement:
DO NOT, under any circumstances, DO NOT slice and dice up jalapeños and then wipe your face or nose before washing your hands. NOTHING good will come of it.

.....so...... stupid.... (as I continue to sniffle 30 minutes later). ugh... smh...

Got the truck back yesterday and did some work :yay:

Got the new fuse box plate installed and oil catch can (still need to run the hose). Also got the new head lights and reverse light bulbs put in.

Nice! If those are lug centric, I got some lug nuts you can use. Also, I think I figured a new splice point. E5-2.
:bananadead: Takes me back to my crosscountry day's when applying icy hot and having to pee right after...

Anyone up for a mod day/evening at my place Wednesday the 8th? I should have everything in to set up the electrical work for the fridge, and some accessory lighting for the bed and tent. Dinners on me!

New bumper. I looked at the quote and Toyota had to order the trail-gear bumper through a third party. They charged $650... I should have just had USAA pay me up front and ordered the parts myself :p For $650 I could have bought a front bumper as well.

Looks great! How durable is the plastidip? I had some ideas on using it.

    That's great news.

I have had plastic dip on my wheels for a year now with no issues...make sure your surface is good and clean and it will last a long time...its also easy to touch up.

I'll be home soon enough. Just found out I am rolling back to shore duty (non- deployable) duty after this run. Means every weekend open for the next 3 years and super easy to take some vacation time starting February! Sense a lot of wheeling trips in my future!
