I've always wanted to try it once. It's only $10, right? I bed they just send out the stuff that doesn't sell very well, which still wouldn't be a bad deal

aaaand almost everything's sold out already! I'm glad I stayed up last night to get my BFM!!! Surprisingly, there's still some sizes left in a few of the shirts. Did you get anything?

I travel a lot and I always see people with Chive shirts on. I was so upset when I saw a guy with his on and I said "Chive on!" like I always do.

    His reply:

"What the hell are you talking about"

He had no clue what the shirt was. He said he liked the girls on the site so he bought the shirt.

Cool. I'll have to try it out

Man, that sucks! Not all Chivers know what's up. I've only met one Chiver who was a douche and it was on this site lol. That's all I'm gonna say about that. I've only been out once in my Chive shirt where I saw other Chivers and it was this passed St. Paddy's day. I RAK'd 2 people's drinks and got RAK'd in return and ended up taking 4-5 shots with one guy. It was great!

The girls are great but the Chive is so much more. RAK is awesome. The chive and TW will show you that there are still good people in the world. Folks that will go out of their way to help complete strangers. With out asking for anything in return except to pass it on.

I used to love the chive. Back when it was more just emgering. Everyone was helpful, it wasnt just a post as many pics as possible, and it just felt great to be a part of something. I mean it used to be 3 or 4 posts a day, morning, afternoon, plus the one or two other category ones. But like anything its gotten to main stream and popular for me. I see chive shirts pretty regularly now and half the people just got them cause its "trendy". I dont drink so if the people even awknowledge me its nothing more than a chive on. I dont know, the main site and caring about wearing tshirts has lost all appeal to me.

Now chivecarities.....i still go there every now and then and check on whats going on. Thats what the chive is really about and i find it sad they had to branch out so much to keep that aspect.

    Least thats my opinion

lol nice meme. That was my early morning rant :) Guess i mostly just feel like its lost some of what it originally was. Which was the RAK, amazing fund raising, and overall just people helping people. Just see to many KCCO tshirts, stickers, mugs, ect on people i know couldnt give a crap about anyone from themselves.

True. I saw on their site that they never plan on mass-producing shirts because it just wouldn't be cool to go out and see 100 ppl with Chive shirts on. I do think a lot of folks are just along for the ride to try and get RAK'd or because it's the new fad, but I believe most are good people...at least everyone I've met so far. I've only met one who was a dick, but everyone else has been awesome!

They dont mass produce them but they sell enough anyways. Might not be the BAMF but between all the others they are out there. It used to be when i went to Sounders game i might see one or two people people with a Chive related t-shirt. Now I go out to the games and see 5-10 of them. Same at work...quite a few people have chive t-shirts they wear to work and plenty more know of the chive and go it to.

Not trying to sound against the chive at all. Think they are great people and its amazing what they have been able to do. Even before Chive Charities it was amazing seeing one post and within a few hours having 50k+ raised. That is truly what the chive is in my heart. Helping out those in need, when they need it. RAK's are sort of meh to me. Buy a person a beer...whats that really accomplish? A couple minutes of delight. Helping out a person who has rare diseases or whatever by giving them that money instead....makes me feel warm and fuzzy knowing they truly appreciate the help
