Ya. Just got a refund. IMO to much work to replace. They offered a replacement but didn't want to go thru the hard work again.

Yeah, I'll have to take apart the whole retrofit as well.

I need to take them apart anyways because somehow a piece of jb weld came off and is sitting at the bottom... :anonymous:

That's not good. Ya I had some moisture get in thru the back where the light bulb is since the gasket isn't flushed with the ballasts connector.

I have the same issue with sealing between the stock rubber gasket and the bulb connector. I ordered the 80mm housing caps from TRS and think I have a good plan on how to make these bad boy retrofits watertight.

I haven't had any moisture issues. The silicone gasket must be doing it's job haha

I do like the option but I wonder how long the windows will last before turning yellow or possibly cracking. You'll love it in Wyoming though! We have the best star gazing. I love my hammock because I can take the tarp off and lounge with the stars.

    I like it
True, if that does happen though I'm sure Bobby or anybody else at CVT will come through no problem. Plus you have to think how much sunlight it would have to see before that is even a possibility. Since this will be used for nights after trail riding more often than not it won't be up much at all during the day.

Yeah, after talking about how awesome it was camping in the bed of the truck under the stars it made me want that option haha

Depends on your use I guess. If I unpack my RTT its probably for a bit longer than a night so it would sit throughout the day as well. Ill probably use my hammock on most of the trips with Monte since he is one of those set up right before sun down and pack up early morning kinda guys. Takes me a 2 minutes to get a hammock hung up as long as there are good trees nearby and its more comfortable :).

How would replacing them work btw? Do they zip completely off?
