    KB Voodooo - Are the fan units running on yours? Lack of cooling will decrease the LED output significantly.

    Mine have been tested in the rain and personally I would say they are a damn sight better than the stock bulbs I just replaced.

    I think KB got some bad drivers or bulbs...

    bad drivers is likely, not supplying sufficient current to LEDS.

    I went to that link that someone posted and I see you boight the lights from a differnt store. Looking over his store I don't see where it says what brand lights they are. While they look the same they may not be. That may be the issue. I will look back at the web version and see if it shows a manufacturer.

    The lights that I have are exactly as shown in the first post of this thread.

    I'm still dicking around with the aiming adjustments and hoping for improvement.

    Mine had the fans running and never had any other issues with their actual function and the box was marked H4 so not thinking I ended up with the fog ones by mistake. Would the fog ones even have the LEDs in same position as they are on the headlights where one points up for bright and 1 points down for lows when in place in the housing?

    Ok I'm confused. I'm half way thru installing my Lifetime LED's. I've got one installed (what a pain that stupid boot was) and I go to install the other but it won't go in the same way (cord pointing down). Look at the metal prongs. One the cord goes to the left, the other it goes to the right. The one with the boot on it seems to fit the "right way" with the cord going down. The other one....well...it wants me to install it with the cord pointing upwards for the little metal prongs to fit appropriately.

    Heres the side by side. You can see that the LED's are offset they aren't the same. Yes the cords are going the opposite directions but the metal brackets that hold it into place are both doing the same directions. I've got a feeling I've got a "backwards" LED. Henry.....anyone.....

    The wires are oriented the same on the bulbs in.relationship to the hi/low. I would check the locating ring
    and make sure it is oriented correctly. It looks like it may be on upside down.
