    I live in the part of the US with the "worst" dust storms, they have never buried my house or even left more than a layer of dust. The sand has to come from somewhere, it doesnt just show up. If you have a sand storm its because you live in a sandy area, of coarse it wont subside. You are referring to the dust bowl, which hasnt happened since the 30's

    I'm not just talking about the US, I'm just saying there are worse natural "disasters" than hurricanes in general. But when I said sand/dust storm I meant worse case scenario, Sahara like sandstorms.
