That's fine with me man! Black Diamond is one helluva first time run for anyone, sets standards high. If you end up attending more explores you'll be like "is this it? Black Diamond was huge compared to this"

    Yess!! vegas baby :)

speaking of i am wheeling log corral trail again this weekend, also going to check out some other springs and cool shit along the power line road (service road 393) if anyone wants to tag along. we are bringing kayaks and canoes and we plan on fishing a decent amount of time.
we will be going in friday night and out sunday morning.
my buddy makes it through here with a 3 inch lift, 31s, locked in the rear with NO sliders. he does get a little body damage sometimes. with 33s and a 3 inch lift you could get by without sliders and a good spotter.

Headlamp, water and clothes you can crawl around in are the biggest that come to mind.

Just a bunch of old crap
Log Corral should be fun if it rains. Curious to see how wet it gets down in the wash if you get a good downpour tomorrow.

With the last changes of those boulders in that one tougher spot, you will definitely make some tight turns and have to be careful without sliders. I didn't hit mine last time going through, but came close. Had to put a tire over a big boulder but just the rear.

393 will be fun. It's a long haul though to do the whole thing. We literally did the entire trail last time from beyond Sunflower all the way down to the Verde river below Bartlett Dam, then back out Log Corral. That's the entire 393. You'll like the off camber stuff that is south of Log Corral as you go to the dam. Some fun climbs and descents, and if it's wet could get interesting.
