Yeah, I pulledsaid files off my HD the other night and its not plugged in now. But the files I pulled off my sd card and imported I can still do whatever with, even though the card isn't in the reader?

Sounds like that's what did it. Maybe the one's you just put in are sourced on your computer HD at the moment but the others were not because it was plugged in before . . . ? idk ha

You should always use a polarizer when shooting water falls. It not only helps slow down your exposure, it takes the glare off of the water and any leaves that are in your image giving them that lush green that you want. If you shoot early enough you might not need more than the polarizer.

Yeah I do use the polarizer whenever I shoot water. I'll be shooting at sunrise so you're probably right with just the polarizer. But I know I can't get everywhere I want to be right at sunrise so some may be later in the morning and then late in the day.

My waterfall shot a few pages back is just my polarized filter. It was patchy clouds, so when the clouds came over I think I could get 2 seconds, when the sun was back I think I was around 1.2 seconds. I could have used a little longer, but I didnt have anything else.
Also, got some steel shots this morning I'm pretty excited about.

I'm shooting for 2-6 seconds on these. I hope to get some of the morning fog in them too.

Good luck, I look forward to seeing your pictures when you get back. Northern Ga.... Now I can't get dueling banjos out of my head, keep your head on a swivel :p

Moved up here from Western NC, Transylvania County NC isn't too far out from where your going to be but is a haul. There are 250 waterfalls there alone. It should, Transylvania means land of waterfalls. Good luck fishing also, I assume from where your headed it is trout fishing and hopefully with a fly rod. That area is pretty lousy with chlorophyll as my friends from the West would say and where I first started using 6'6" and 7' rods. Fish pics too!

Hopefully I'll get some good ones. If I hear banjo's I'm running lol.

Yes, I'll be fishing for trout with a fly rod. I've got a 8'6" TFO 5 wt. with an Orvis BBS reel. My prize rod is an Orvis TLS in a 4 wt. though. Awesome little rod. I'd love to have one of the little 6'6" rods that would be perfect for where I fish up there. Maybe I can catch another one of these monsters on a fly rod this time. Caught this one on a ultralight 2 yrs ago. 6 lbs 2 oz Rainbow.

My steel shots I got this morning are... Eh. I'll try to get some more before the deadline.

Brought my camera to work to see if I can get some steel shots at lunch today. Decided the sunrise over Fort Worth was picture worthy.

Its looking like I'll be working on the production of a cook book and cooking videos for the company I am currently at. (Production probably won't begin for a while)

I'm planning on purchasing at least one Lumopro 180 by the of the month, and I'll probably buy an Einstein flash sometime this summer.

I am also looking into a macro lens as well. Does anyone have any input on the difference between the 60mm vs 105mm focal length. I was leaning towards the 60mm one
