That doesn't do anything for me. From a wheeling standpoint it's useless. Other then adding a winch. You might as well just remove the crash bar and make a winch plate behind the plastic bumper .
The majority of damage when wheeling is on the corners of the stock bumper . Which in that design are still there.
    Just my opinion .

Billy, if your goal is to add a winch to the front, have you considered a front receiver? That way you could just get a winch tray and keep it out of the salt spray when not in use. It would also still give you something more substantial up front in the case of a light fender bender.

True but I am not a heavy duty wheeler. This will give me some protection as well as keep the look I like. I am not a huge fan of the plate bumper look. I can appreciate the work behind it and the fact that someone does like them and use them but for a once in awhile weekender it doesn't make sense

The winch isn't the main want. I like the aspect of the protection as well as keeping the front semi stock looking.

Understandable. I do like the way that one looks, very subtle.

    Here's a dumb question.

No one here happens to own a 3rd gen Supra Turbo targa 5MT do they? I've always kinda wanted one and have decided if I find one cheap enough I'd ultimately sell my Subaru and use the cash to do a basic restore, a few mods, an OME suspension for my truck and then save the rest.

I just don't know anyone who has one so I could take it for a spin to see if I even like it. I was thinking I'd keep the Subaru until I was sure I liked it, with the plan of selling the Supra if I don't.

I dunno, I'm probably talking crazy. Just bought a house less than a year ago, knee deep in wedding planning and I'm still thinking about the toys.

Installing the driver's side header. Got everything disconnected, just gotta drop the shaft to get the stock header out and put the new ones in.
