I agree but sawzall blades are expensive and gridner blades are cheap lol.. Got the 10 pack from HF for like 7$ (they last longer than regular blades too)

Going through sheet metal sawzall blades last pretty long, definitely should be enough to cut the bed, I do hate cutting metal with them though, would have probably opted for a cutoff wheel also. The HF blades are a deal and work well, I was a little apprehensive at first cause it hurts when they blow up but they have worked well for me. A plasma cutter would have been much faster:D

only like 2 of em exploded on me this time but I think any blade would really explode in the same situation.. I was cutting through some 1/4" on my cbi bumper as well.. Had to change the mounts a little bit. But yea a plasma cutter would have turned 12hrs worth of grinding into about an hour or so lol..

Scored a con ferr basket for free from a family friend. Not sure what to do with it yet, but I think it'll come in handy if I bolt it to my shell.

Nice. I almost went this route. Decided to throw a little more coin and get a frontrunner rack that I'm going to install this afternoon.

    Yours looks great!

If your door handle is hard to pull, pull the door panel and grease all the pivots and latches and so forth. I use white lithium to do mine.

Not much yet - Just bought it - looking to see what is out there
Lots of sun and opportunity to be outside working on the Taco this weekend! Got my bed bar w/ High Lift jack mount painted and installed. Eddy / SOS Offroad Concepts does good work.

I also blacked the wheels and badges out with Plasti-Dip. It did fine on the wheels but the edges of the badges only worked well on the ones that were higher profile. The SR5 badges on each side, and most of the badges on the tailgate are lower profile and so the edges didn't work out so good. Plasti did was really just an opportunity to see if I liked everything blacked out…and I do. Ill scrub it all back off this summer (comes off like nothing with gasoline) and do it all in a more permanent fashion with flat black wheel paint.

That is a yard stick on the front wheel.
It's at 37 and a quarter in the front and 39 and a half in the rear.
I still need to get an alignment so I haven't really driven it too much. I think it will settle a bit once it is driven and loaded up a bit.
The mother in law wants mulch, a couple of truck loads, so I will see how it does on Monday.
