My 870 rusts the second I put it in a soft case. Sitting in my safe or out in the open it's fine. It must be the park job. I might soak it in oil for a few days in the heat.

 

Their parkarizing does that. I have 2, north are the same way.

Single shot 'defense' pocket pistol. I would pass on that. Single shot of .223 or the .410/.45 model seems a little light. Get the judge by Taurus instead.

 

Smith and Wesson bodygaurd in .38? Opinions?

 

I shot my cousins a few months back and it was very comfortable for me, the sights were kinda hard to use but it's a self defense gun not a range gun so it's not a big issue.

I'm not into lasers, so I'd say save your money and go 642 or 442 instead.

 

Not sure if this has a laser but from what I heard from others who know more than me, lasers can be a bad idea because they show how much you are wobbling when holding the gun.

 

The bodyguards (both .38 and .380) have lasers, on the .38 it's a switch in the grip so when you grab it it's on.

The lasers are great for seeing flinch while dry-firing.

Can anyone school me on the Uberti Cattleman series? Was planning to eventually pick up a Ruger Vaquero 45LC, but saw a few Ubertis at Bass Pro today and thought they looked very nice as well at nearly $200 less than the Ruger. Are they worthwhile for someone who plans to actually use them?
