My 870 rusts the second I put it in a soft case. Sitting in my safe or out in the open it's fine. It must be the park job. I might soak it in oil for a few days in the heat.

I shot my cousins a few months back and it was very comfortable for me, the sights were kinda hard to use but it's a self defense gun not a range gun so it's not a big issue.

I'm not into lasers, so I'd say save your money and go 642 or 442 instead.

Not sure if this has a laser but from what I heard from others who know more than me, lasers can be a bad idea because they show how much you are wobbling when holding the gun.

The bodyguards (both .38 and .380) have lasers, on the .38 it's a switch in the grip so when you grab it it's on.

The lasers are great for seeing flinch while dry-firing.

but not so great when built into a gun where you have no choice but to have it turn on when you grab the gun

What would you guys say is a reasonable price for a Smith and Wesson 629-4 6" revolver with the Power Port. Gun has light scratches, but finish still looks nice, VERY light cylinder ring, forged trigger/hammer/release, no lock. It has a Leupold VX-3 adj scope in matte silver. No box, no extras...just gun and scope

Gunbroker doesn't have many like it, but they look to be going anywhere between $700-$900 without the scope. The scope is $600 new from opticsplanet.com

Can anyone school me on the Uberti Cattleman series? Was planning to eventually pick up a Ruger Vaquero 45LC, but saw a few Ubertis at Bass Pro today and thought they looked very nice as well at nearly $200 less than the Ruger. Are they worthwhile for someone who plans to actually use them?
