Hey, I bought my isimple before i saw this thread. It took a lil bit a tinkering and two emails the the technically support but it works perfect on my 13' non nav touch screen. stoked to have it finally work. Just make sure you have the right cable for it, its plugged into port 2 and just play with the seek button on the radio. I was about to give up until channel 184 clicked on and all i had to do was refresh my signal. so stoked!

Has anyone successfully gone into the setup mode on the Vais radio interface? You're supposed to hit the scan button 8 times within 1-2 seconds and then you hear a beep. It's very difficult with our touchscreen to hit that button 8 times that quickly. I've tried multiple times and I just can't get it to go into the setup mode. I want to set the sound level for Satellite to be about the same as the other inputs (AM/FM/Ipod/etc.). Other than this one quirk the radio works great!

I had the same struggles but finally got in. I had to stop trying and carefully read the guide and then when I tried again it worked.

Is there a way to get the OEM Toyota antenna for this? Has anyone look in to installing that type of antenna instead of the one that came in the kit? It would look way better and keep the factory look on the truck... I find that magnetic antenna on most vehicles eventually rust the paint...

I had the same problem when I installed the isimple in my wife's highlander, for future users, you need to use the tuning knob to find the Sirius aux input after you click SAT on the touch screen. Because there are multiple ports on the isimple it may be ch 4 for XM. You must tune within the first 6 seconds of hitting the SAT button, then it locks the channel in. Since figuring this out it has worked flawlessly.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!
After spending about an hour on the phone with Sirius XM customer support line, I was just about to pull the Isimple a part to reset the device when I found your post. About a minute later my XM radio was up and working.

I have a 2012 with the shark fin antenna and XM radio. I upgraded to a 2014 HU and bought the Toyota 2014 XM unit too.

However, when I installed the 2014 head unit there was only one antenna wire, which of course I connected to the head unit. I'm stalled on the installation of the 2014 XM module because I was hoping on using the OEM, shark fin antenna (like the 2012). I think my solution is to purchase a separate XM antenna, but right now I'm holding out for a OEM solution. I was wondering if someone else figured this out yet?

    Thanks.
