New stuff, had 2 light tabs welded on the front for rigid duallies

Had a new rear bumper made with a flip down hidden hitch.

Also had mud flaps added in the rear so johnny law stays off my case.

Not to criticize the rear license plate bracket, but how do you intent to tow with the license plate in the way of the hitch or is it just for recovery purposes?

Tried to replace my old stock cats and O2 sensors today. I turned an easy job into a nightmare. Ended up stripping the 3 threads on the manifold. They all stripped when I was loosening the nuts.

My "fix it" idea was to cut/ grind down the threads and then drill through the rest so I could replace the threads with bolts and nuts. Well drilling through those was not happening.

Now I'm gonna have it towed to a muffler shop tomorrow and pray that they can fix my screw ups. I would hope I don't have to buy new manifolds because those 3 threads stripped.

I've heard to be careful not to strip those threads but has Anyone else ever run into this issue? If so, what did you do?

Wow bro sorry to hear that ^.. Hmm well I think they will be able to tap new threads into the manifold? It's cast iron and I'm almost positive they can thread it.If it's ruined then midswell get headers since they are around the same price as oem. Or you could just get some from a part out.

I couldn't even bust those 3 nuts loose on my manifolds, so I just cut the manifold right before the collector with a saws all. I even broke a craftsman ratchet trying to get it apart.

no thread that i could find. asked a guy on instagram (who is probably somewhere on TW) how he did his. only modification i did was the holes in the roof haha. did nothing at all to the rack, it would be possible to make it shorter so it wouldnt stray away from the lines in the roof. ijust made it even and wasnt to concerned about the roof lines

Just got my truck back from my friend. He fixed driver door and rocker panel damage from a deer. While he had it he painted the fender flares dark grey, front bumper valance and grille and headlight trim dark grey, and the chrome bumper black. I like it alot.

I think 31's are the biggest you can go w/o lift or anything.
