    Looked it up in the manual, if I read it correctly it's a breather hose.

    it's the vacuum/breather/whatever hose for the 4WD solenoid. Neither of my J shift cases have that.

    I didn't want to start an entire thread about this. But does anyone have good ideas how to remove the little circle mirror? I have a heat gun but I don't want the factory mirror to come lose. I tried goo gone and a razor blade on my last truck but the razor scratched the mirror. Maybe goo gone and a rubber blade? Or goof off? Any suggestions? I'm going to replace it with a bigger circle mirror so maybe the scratches wont matter.
