It's one I built using the electric lock & buttstock bracket from Santa Cruz. They make components for LE cruisers.

What did you use for the 'tube' and how did you attach it to the roof? It looks like you re-used the coat hanger spots.

I just noticed you're in N. CO. Maybe I can check it out some time? :D

After a short discussion with Smith and Alexander, bought one of their magwells. My 1911 is getting a face lift!

Approved. That looks badass. I would use more color on my guns, but I always end up going back to black. Spent a buttload on LaRue UDE stuff and later ended up selling it.

Ares Armor has a pink version of their MKII sling if she wants to accessorize...

I've got plenty of black guns too but I like some color from time to time. They seem to have more character and as I sit back and think about which are my favorites (shhh... don't tell any of them I said that) I tend to gravitate towards those that are colors other than just black. I think she's going to love her new AR15 when it done with all the pink furniture and if that gets her shooting more than she does now and taking up a deeper interest because it adds more character... then so be it.

It looks good. I like it a lot. I thought they were only going to make the grey stuff for the MOE line, but the place down the street from me has the CTR and STR, etc. It's definitely a nice shade of grey.

And I agree, anything that gets them shooting is good. In my case it's whatever gets her shooting again is good. Haven't figured out what that is yet.

Two more cans of CFE 223. Also ordered 4k rounds of 55FMJ, so that should keep me going for a while.

Had one a couple years ago. Used it for a couple months. Got rid of it after the excessive amount of jams on various ammo. Was nice when it was working.

Hopefully mine isn't like that. I picked up dozens of handguns, this one felt the most natural. Shot a buddy's and really like it.

She shoots a fair amount now and owns her own handguns but she generally just shoots whatever rifles I have out. I'd like her to have her OWN rifle so she can learn the ins and outs of it and one huge bonus is now she can clean her OWN rifle instead of getting to have all the fun with mine and then not having to deal with any of the maintenance. :D

That being said I'm excited she will have her own AR15 that she can upgrade however she wants and set it up exactly how she wants. It will make her a better shooter and I'm sure once she starts showing her pink AR15 to all her friends they might become more interested in shooting sports as well. Women are funny that way and anything we can do to get more people interested who otherwise may be indifferent is a bonus for everyone.

First time my girlfriend shot my '47 it bruised her shoulder (she's on the smaller side so she couldn't really get a good purchase on the rifle) I bought a '74 with collapsible stock but she still didn't want to shoot it. Sold that, got a Shield for my summer carry/her range toy since she likes pistols a lot better.

There are plenty of stores across the country who have powder in stock but aren't certified to ship it. You just have to find those places, then find a way to get it shipped legally. I don't know anyone who will do that for me, but a buddy of mine does, so he always asks if I need anything when he orders and we split the hazmat and shipping.

How bout I pay you, and you ship it to me secretly! Lol! I wish I could find some IMR4320, 2230 or some 8208 xbr. I can't make myself pay gunbroker prices and the online places only have 1lb if any.

I found a place a few weeks ago who had 8lb jugs of 8208 XBR. Decided to wait til I got home to call and it was already gone. That's how it goes now. Snooze/lose, etc. I got lucky and scored 24lbs. Of 3031 back in November, then just recently found this resource through my friend. I decided during the panic that I would never be the no powder or bullets guy again. Stopped buying guns and focused on reloading components. Been happier ever since:)
