I bought a prerunner cause I really couldn't afford a 4WD. So with that being said, just out of curiosity, what can I get away with as far as off road capaability? I obviously won't be mudding, or rock crawling. and what is the fastest I can go when the e-locker is engaged? Thanks..

& please no sarcastic remarks about how I should've bought a 4wd. Just looking for honest answer from 4x2 owners

out here in AZ you can do most of the things. there are some places you can get in some trouble but if you go out with the AZ tw guys some have winches and will pull you out. go under the az section and find the bs thread and say hey to the guys. im from gilbert and have a locked 04 prerunner. I did fine in the dunes also got stuck once but only because i parked like an idiot sideways

Fastest i have gone in the desert locked was 60mph... just remember to be under 5mph while locking, but once engaged, you are golden...

try not to drive locked on the road though...
