i was waitin on coldhands to kill the men at Crasters in the episode but never happened. and yeah i remember in the books that jon never knew bran was alive.

I think in the book its Coldhands that killed the men at crasters but it wasnt ever "stated" as being them. so the whole point in the episode of showing the baby offered up to the white walkers then being taken to teh altar really made me go wtf is going on and why is this happening

yeah, looked like a different class of them. Like a masters and servants type thing, the horned guy didnt look all dead and gross like the others we've seen. Almost like they are alive and cant have sons so they steal the human ones and turn them?

Best TV show EVER! That's how I felt about it after two episodes when it first started and I still feel the same today. The nudity and violence are just icing on the cake. I didn't watch last nights episode yet. I prefer to save up two-four episodes so I can watch them all at once. :D

Of all the movies that came from books I have seen/read, only one has EVER been almost verbatim to the book, and that is the original "The Hobbit". Never seen anything else follow the books. Personally I think last night's episode was a bit boring.

I have enjoyed the series alot and love watching it.

I loved the books too and the next one needs to hurry up and come out.

and i havent had any issues with changing anything with the show, except last night. I dont understand what the point of the whole white walker/baby at altar thing was about. i cant even think of anything in the books remotely close to that

Didn't George R. R. Martin get more control after the first season when they resigned the deal?

dunno. he supposedly had no idea about the Jaime rape scene and i dont think he'd give up that kind of possible walker spoiler.

So all the new born babies are being recruited to white walker babies?

Building up an army ? i thought it was a good episode, would been nice if we had more of the white walkers. Like how they live, communicated with one another.
