been here to long already. only 12 years...

 

Maybe I just live on the wrong end of the state. If anything I really need to get out of Woonsocket. All the business are moving out, and the taxes are bad. I pay double the taxes on my 2008 Taco compared to my dad who lives in Bellingham and owns a 2011 RAM Laramie.

 

Exactly. Only in the state for a couple of hours. I cruised up Rt 1, hopped on 138, had lunch at some overpriced little restaurant on the water in Newport (the food was good, but the patrons were snobby, snobby people who talked through teeth clenched so tightly I'm amazed they were able to eat anything).
Scenic enough, but the few people I talked to were lousy conversationalists; I was lucky to get a full sentence out of any of them. You'd have thought I had the plague because I rode in on a $1200 motorcycle with bugs on my visor. Probably my own damn fault for eating lunch in Newport, haha!

Yeah, $46.58 per $1000. And of course the city still values my truck at $22,900.

 

Hey Rob or anyone else that wants to chime in, what is the name of the landscape supplier on 495 probably in the Bellingham area. I need to resupply the rock bed around the pool and I am having a tough time finding a close vendor

Ouch! When I still had my Tacoma, I was paying along the lines of $30/$1,000 but my town only valued by truck at like $7,500

Is the excise tax state or city regulated?

 

City. My excise tax dropped almost in half when I moved from Quincy to Norwood.

There's a $25 minimum for excise tax and both by motorcycle and trailer are at the minimum currently.

I think it's North Country Mulch,but i think they've changed hands,but it's on the tip of my tongue,but i don't think they'll have what you need or want.

Hey Billy, I'm pretty sure there's a place called North Country Mulch in that area but they likely don't have what you want/need.
