So the delema what direction to take it. While i'd love to make it a man-cave, the house has a front porch, rear screend in porch, and a rear deck. so there is plenty of beer drinkin' space. i need to decide if it will be more of a workshop, or a storage space. while there will be many a project happening in the garage, i don't want it to get cluttered to the point that we can't put a car in it if needed. lot of thinking to do.

 

Man cave all the way. I've used the shit outta my man cave.

Also, you coming through Baton Rouge on your way to VA?

Do a hybrid man-cave/workshop, with a majority of it being workshop.

 

I think it will come down to how much i can store up in the rafters of the shed, and what the shelving/work bench systems turns out like. first order of business though is running power out to it. already mapped out where to dig the trench

not going to come by your way unfortunately. it's already something like a 1500 mile drive.

 

i like this. maybe a work shop with a small couch, flat screen, and minifridge.....all of which i already own

Exactly what I was thinking. I have all the above in my garage except the couch.

 

huh, i'll look into it again. may have had a mid point elasewhere i was trying to hit that routed it differently. i'll let you know once it gets closer to move time and let you know.

i 'd be happy just using lawn chairs, but i have one or two couches that are in good shape that just don't match everything else. may put the small one in the shed and the larce one on the screen porch.

Make some nice tables, have your snap-on tool box next to it, corner for welding and have a flat screen, beer fridge and a couple office chairs

sure enough. has me going right through BR. i might have had it taking me through TN to see some relatives along the way. can't remember.

lol, that may be a little over the top. when doing things to this house, i have to remember that i'll only be here for about three years, so i don't want to put too much money/effort into it. any big money that goes into it will have to be for something that will have at least a little payback when we sell the house.
