I know a welder who works half the year and brings that home

 

That makes more sense

 

He gets requested, he does it all from Alaska to underwater I believe

 

I can see underwater welding making a ton. Whole different set of skills too

 

He is also the complete opposite from the welding guys you'll ever meet, he is far from an ignorant redneck, his work truck is a ford ranger, every site he works he doesn't need his own welder and shit.

 

People in sales can make more doing less work.. doesnt mean everyone does it. I mean good luck to you but just dont count your chickens till they hatch

 

Like my Brother in law working for chevron, makes at least 150k and is a division leader

 

The head guy of my team works 1 day a week and makes on average 350-500k per year

The head guy I work with wears jeans an a golf shirt and works one day a week in a conference center..

Ahhh, there's the problem grasshoppa, once you get used to the $$$$, going back is next to impossible, unless you are forced into it.

 

I love suits and ties.. if I didnt think it would intimidate my clients id wear one every day
