Well your truck "is" pretty cool Kevin but it all sounds kind of fishy. Did he ask for your phone number and walk like his ass was hurting?

    Look at build!
Anyone be interested in some ADD ifs 4x4 parts? Axles, Spindles, Control arms, Moog ball joints plus spares, I have spares for most front end parts.. Only thing not going is Trans, Tcase & front driveshaft... Front diff and axles will be pulled sometime soon when the weather is clear again...

Chad or Eddy, how hard would one of these be?

I've contacted pelfreybilt about the red one that they make (on the red truck) about making one without the top basket and have got no response. The other (on the green truck) is what I want but without the added bars near the back of the rack. Maybe just 3 bars total, not 10 like they have. I like pelfreys but closer to the cab like the green one and without the top portion of pelfreys if that makes sense.

Someone help me out here. I don't wanna drop 800$ on a front runner and if this can't be done I'm gonna hack up the oem rack to pieces and just start welding and crap to mount my light bar to it.

Stuff I Think Makes it Better
Just found this thread, new to TW. Hopefully up to meet some of you guys and get the trucks dirty. New Taco owner (like 3 weeks), so haven't even started any mods, yet. But first thing I'm looking into is new tires, currently have 265/65/17 Bridgestone Duelers on them, but was looking at a Nitto or BFG, maybe even go up to a 265/75/17 if i can without a lift...any thoughts?

welcome....MC/GC here as well. that's not a common size that i know of for a 17". most step ups for a 17 is a 265/70/17 or a 255/75/17. both give height and dont require a lift.

And not to mention that almost all trucks seen down here (Charleston) are a Taco of some kind...159,485 Tacos sold in 2013 (http://news.pickuptrucks.com/2014/01/best-selling-pickup-trucks-december-2013.html)
