huh, i wonder how linex will hold up... the tire carrier should fair better because its in the bed, so its not in the salty spray as much, thats what eats stuff its the brine that we get in the winter.

Nice and quiet down that way.

Started to detail my Tacoma today. The tailgate was the worst part. Had some marks from a wheelbarrow that cleaned up nicely.







Used a Rupes Bigfoot with a blue microfiber pad and SIP.



Tailgate after 2nd step of Menzerna Micro Polish and a yellow microfiber pad.




Enough for today. I need to wipe down the panels tomorrow and apply the first coat of cqurtz.

psh! only excuse i've ever used to not make a rausch creek trip is being 1000 miles away. only there for three years, so i'll make it to rausch as many times as i can

Hobie Cat on the bay is quite a trip. 15 to 20 mph on a sail boat that's only 16 feet long is a whole new kind of fun.

 

Yea i agree, I wasn't planning on PC for the sliders. I was thinking about LineX for them. It's suppose to take the abuse and Steve seems like he is having a hell of a time removing it from his sliders lmao!

Sounds good, i asked my dad and he said hes always used to one in Gaithersburg, and he did his own for some stuff.

 

Wildest situation i've been in on it was when we'd take it to the beach in North Carolina. We'd beach launch it because it take an extra hour to launch at a ramp and sait out through the channel. However, that meant having to sail out through chest high breakers. Never though i'd get a sailboat airbourne...

that's insane... craziest i ever got has having it on its side for a minute before it dumped me out... no idea how the other kid held on....

we've got ours rigged with outrigger seats and trapese points. you can hike WAAYYYY out on the thing, which means you can run full sail in some pretty heavy winds.

 

that beats the one i was using... the first day at the camp was spent earning "boat repair" merit badge putting the new sail and cam cleat on, and when we had it up we were sitting on the side of it to keep from tipping
