    Yes but the frequency of those crimes would increase drastically if the hard core drugs were legal.

    So now we switch from over filled prisons to over filled rehab facilities and hospitals treating these people who are not hard core addicts. Guess which one costs more and is like I said, more destructive to society as a hole.
