    Got her all installed today. Still learning the tension side though. How hard should it "snap" into place at the tail?

    You shouldn't have to change the tension bar...it comes pre-adjusted for our trucks. Says so in the instructions.

    Just make it tight enough that you don't have any bumps in it. It should be nice and flat (like a sheet of glass). Too tight and you will begin to stretch it.

    I love my access roll-up.

    Now you have me worried! My back snapped in way to easy so I upped the tension a good amount on both sides. I didnt see anywhere in the instructions where it mentioned being preset. Either way it looks sharp!

    Hit the highway some today and notice a little flapping of the Tonneau...enough that I could see the bar in the center. Is this fairly normal or should I be tightening it up some more? (on the velcro or with the tighteners?)

    Thanks!

    A few bolts are different.
    sorry I didnt have time to read all this thread so if this was already stated I apologize. The Access and lorado are both made by the same company, Agri-Cover. Larado will not work with the rail system tie-down cleats installed in the rail. stay with the access to be able to use them.

    There will always be a little movement on the cover... Now if it's flapping the way a tarp covering stuff does, then yes, it's way too loose. But if it's just a little fluttering up and down, no biggie, it's going to move some.

    Like someone else mentioned, they are pre-set at the factory for our trucks. You should not need to adjust it when installing it. If you have any questions about the adjustment of the cover, call the mfgr and speak with them. They are real good about answering questions.

    Sorry but yeah...it definitely said in the directions to not mess with the tension knob. I started to do so until I saw that line in the instructions and had to reverse my adjustment.

    You definitely should not see the middle bar when it's flapping. Actually, mine does not flap that much at all. I don't think it's too tight either.

    When securing the sides, be sure to "walk" your way down the velcro as you pull on it. I do maybe 3 pulls on each side-
    1) pull the front tight and push it down;
    2) pull the middle tight then push it down;
    3) pull the back and push it down.

    When the whole side is down, I run my hand along it to ensure that it's tight on the velcro. Then repeat on the other side.
    It should sound like a drum if you tap on the top of it.

    If you continue to be worried, I will snap a short video of how I put it down and how tight it is. Let me know.

    If you guys could post a pic of your tension knob that would be greatly appreciated. Ive tightened it even more to take the slack out of the top. I was sure to pull the sides damn tight so I dont think that was the problem.

    Where does it say that the tension is preset? Cant seem to find that...
