Hello Tacoma World

My name is Freddy and I am a new member. I do not have Tacoma yet and I am in the market to buy one. I am looking for a used one. This is what I am looking for. Tacoma double cap 4x4 2001 thru 2004. I hope to buy one soon in 30 days. Also, no rust on the Tacoma and one owner. I hope to buy it here in this website. Thanks

 

Well good luck with that. At the top of the page is the "Forum List". Under that see the forums for "Shopping". An 04 would be a 1st Gen so look there.

Wouldn't using Craig's list, local paper, and other resources be your best bet? TW covers a wide geographic diversity.

And rust. Don't get me started on rust. That is a "feature" of Tacos. So if you find a "rust free" 04 you probably drove to Phoenix AZ to get it.

Anyway, there are a lot for great 1st Gens out there so you'll find one for sure. Why an 04? Would an o3 or 05 work for you? Do you want a 4x4 or 2WD, maybe a prerunner? Standard, access, or double cab. Any favorite colors? Tell us what exactly your dream ride is and maybe we can point you in the right direction...

Like stated above try local sources to find something a little more "in reach" as you'll find FS ads here from all over North America unless you don't mind spending a lot of extra $$ and having one shipped to you or you flying to pick it up and drive back to TX!

 

I am learning how to use this website. So please excuse me if not using the right format. Looking for a 4x4, 4 door, any color but black would be better, don't really know the styles but a real nice one. And the year btw 2001 thru 2004. thanks for your help. I live in deep south texas near South Pardre Island. I will travel up to 1500 miles to get this truck.
