    Thank you.

No sir, I only took off/kept what I wanted to keep.

I did the deal yesterday and took the 4Runner in today to have it tinted and get the Weathertechs that had to be ordered. They had my old Tacoma cleaned up (as seen in the pic) and for just a second, I thought "I should have kept it". But, I'm really liking the 4Runner. The dogs also fit inside much better and with the parents staying at my place on and off it's more fitting than the Tacoma as a DD.

Nice! My only complaint is the skinny ass tires, and full time AWD. Other than that, very nice SUV. Nice trade, but I still rather have both :D

nice, good choice. I like the fit and finish of the 4runner better. Fortunately I kept both but the new ones are nice. I have a 12' pearl.

Spent the day disassembling my whole front suspension, grinding and fitting Total Chaos coil bucket gussets and TC cam tab gussets. Tomorrow they get welded on and then reinstall all the suspension.

    Thanks.

I'm with you on the tires but, still trying to figure out the 4x4.

The tires are the same diameter as the 31s on the Tacoma but, do look damn skinny. I actually thought about getting a wheel swap as part of the deal taking it from a 20 inch rim with 245 width tires to a 16 inch rim with 265 width and larger aspect ratio. I had some concern with rubbing though. I also checked price but, was pleasantly surprised by the price of the 245/60-20 tires...well really just cheaper than I expected. That said the selection of rubber in that size is pretty small (245/60-20). Another issue with the OEM tires on the 4Runner is how much they load up. Just driving through mud that had a decent bottom about 4 or 5 inches under the surface the tires had zero tread showing until I lit it up or spear up enough to sling it off. Not real cool with that either.

On the 4 wheel drive, I've done some reading but, not enough to grasp it yet. It is full time with a selector switch that allows me to select 4x4H and 4x4L. What I don't get yet....since it's 4x4 full time why does it have a selection if 4x4H? Is there something changing the proportioning or ??? I don't know the difference yet.

Thanks man. from a financial perspective it wasn't the best choice for me, I have another vehicle but find I just don't drive it much. I typically tend to only use one of them 99%+ of the time. The other vehicle is paid off so it only cost insurance, tags & maintenance but, I'm considering dumping it as well being dogleg & living alone most of the time, I just don't need it.

I agree they are skinny. Do some more research and see if a 265 would rub. A 265/75/16 would fill the wheel well the same as the 245/60/20. Check it out here.
