Brooks, let me know if you got the day pass

Brian and Jes, can you pm me your email so I can send you a copy of the permit to print (if I can do it) and Jes, I'm gonna need your last name and your GF's first and last name also to put on the permit. I'll be filling it out as soon as I get the info.

You gonna camp too or just the day?

Brooks you may need to do some research..

    1. If camping, there is still room on Polekasta's permit.
    2. If you didn't get the day pass, I guess there are 2 ways we can go about it. I only have 3 trucks on my permit. If you don't need to register your party, but just your truck, then I can put your truck on my permit, or I think Polekasta still has room for you and his vehicle on his permit. If you gotta list everyone coming, then gotta jump on Polekasta's permit..

Still just for the day. I figured if the number on the main page was still correct ther was still room on your permit. If not I'll call for just a day pass.

    Here is the thing..

There is technically still space in Polekasta's permit.. But, if everyone needs to be listed on the permit (maybe minus the baby), then it is $2 per/person.

Base permit accounts for first 6 people. Everyone over that (to the limit of the permit) is $2/person.

Go ask a couple of questions:
    1. If truck only listed, not people, then either I or Polekasta can put your truck on our permits.
    2. If the day pass is free (and easy to get), go that route.
    3. If trouble to get or you gotta pay anyway, then thrown Polekasta the charge fee and jump on his permit..

Called DLNR yesterday and got more info for the day pass. Lady was real nice to me and even Emailed me a PDF of the day pass form. All would have to do is print, fill out, and sent it to them. She even said can scan and email back the completed form for them to process. If nobody has a scanner, she left a fax number to send via fax to them, even her number to see if she got the application. I believe they'll mail back the day pass. If anybody wants this for future outings, message me your email and I'll forward it to you. That way don't have to do to town just for the paperwork.

Neil, looks like there's a lot of food for dinner time, and since I was undecided yet, I'll bring breakfast. Eggs, port. sausage, rice. If there is left over steak from dinner time, can reheat that for breakfast also. I'll also bring the stuff for making smores along with some bamboo poles for the marshmallows and hotdogs. Is there anything else anybody want for breakfast?

Mike, why don't you bring something like bacon for breakfast and some kind of side for dinner..

I just talked to my Dad and will be getting an old school big tiger pot that my grandma used to store hot items (rice, soups) when she used to sell food at the chicken fights.. I can make 10-15 cups of rice and throw it in there.. Should keep it nice and hot for the day and breakfast..

Not sure if Ratha, Chris, Brandon will be getting on this or not.. I will be also touching base with the friends that are coming with us..
