    Well it kinda depends on where in the state you are. In anchorage the sun "technically" sets every night, but come june it never really gets any darker than dusk and the sun is only "set" for 4-5 hours. Up further north like fairbanks and beyond I think june-ish is when the 24 hours of sunlight start but I'm not positive.

    And yeah, it really is beautiful up here, it's crazy how much I miss the mountains when I'm in Oregon for school.

    Basically haha it kinda just barely drops below the mountains for a few hours. It makes for crazy long sunsets because the sun is basically moving horizontally across the sky instead of vertically.

    I was out camping yesterday and saw the northern lights for a few hours it was dancing like crazy and did anyone else feel the earth quake a little bit ago felt like a good one
