Man, what I would do to just pick up and go travel with my camera. If I could get on with some organization as their traveling photographer I would be all over it haha So many amazing people in so many amazing places!

Awais actually lives in Pakistan. He's gone on some crazy trips since I've known him.

The up and outta here award would have to go to Kelsey and John. They're two friends who live in Alaska most of the year. I met them in Utah on a photography trip. They drove down and did a ton of touring and climbing before heading home.

If you decide to sell the 5D body let me know the condition and a price. I can't afford a 5DII and the 5D classic still makes stunning photos and I really just want one because full frame.

Full frame is full frame ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ plus I know people that take fantastic images with them for example my friend Justin.

Ive been using their CT414 to hold my 400mm/ 2.8 on a gimbal head and its ben rock solid. They had an awesome sale just before Christmas- saved about $170.

Ive hung from it and Im almost 260. Its pretty stout.

One of our hired transport guys wanted some pictures of his setup with one of our rental machines. Our rental gal wanted me to get in the picture and she had her P&S, I just happened to have my camera, so I told her to get in the picture. Dodged a bullet there haha. I got a few to give him. Super nice guy.

I didn't, never been out there before and I knew it was close, so while I was driving I just set my camera to 102,000 iso and have my wife take a quick pick to find it in the dark. LOL then found a road to get close to it. It was blowing 40mph winds 2 nights ago and dusty so I figured it wouldn't be that great, actually came out better then I thought for a 10 second or so exp. in that wind! LOL

    Thx!

So impressive from this distance. If you have the chance, look at a map and you can find the roads. The easiest is off of I-70.

It's called the Temple of the Moon/Temple of the Sun in Capital Reef National Park.

I found a nice pointer to getting there.
