I have done some searches and love all the info on retrofits but I am curious if anyone has purchased aftermarket projectors and then retrofit?

If I like the look of aftermarket projectors can I retrofit with better projectors? Would this be less work since there is already a projector lens in the headlight? I am leaning towards doing my own complete retrofit anyways but wanted to ask. Thanks.

Ex) Take these http://www.carid.com/2009-toyota-ta...d-halo-led-projector-headlights-12130199.html and then replace the projector lens with a better kit

Yes. They're kinda melted in. I'd hate to try to remove one.

I'm looking around for some projectors. Are yours the Spec-D's listed here?
