Just got off the reservoir and couldn't manage a bite even. This wx has them in a weird pattern I'm guessing.

Not that I know of. I did notice there's a shit ton of hydrilla in it. Gonna try a different side of the lake that looked more promising the next time I go.

Hmmm.... So Im wanting to get rid of my Rear AAL. Im thinking OME Dakars but dont know if my Bilsteins 5100s in the rear are going to cut it. Anyone know if they are long enough? Toytec offers a shock extender but that sounds a little iffy to me.

Yea, I am in the same boat. I was also thinking that why buy just the Dakars for around $600 w/ U-bolt and bushings and things when I can buy the whole kit shipped for about $1200. Decisions, Decisions...

What are the extended and collapsed lengths on the B5100? You should be more than fine with Dakars but I'd check them against the OME shocks.

They make a couple different length 5100s. If you have the RCD ones made for 3" of lift youll be fine as they are a 10" travel and work perfect with my custom 4.5" lift alcan leaf pack.

Just checked in the shed. I have the c478 part# 5100 so only good for 2 inches of lift. Toytec is selling what they call BOSS 10 leaf 2 inch leaf packs. They look like deavers I may check up on them. I really don't want to buy new shocks when my current ones are less than a year old but that AAL has got to go. Trucks pretty saggy with the boat hooked up.

    I'm here, so now what???

Gonna be living in Glenn Allen until I can figure out what area to start looking for houses and then buy one. Only have 3 months to get that done! Woohoo!

    Look forward to meeting everyone!

We'll have to line up a meet soon... RVA has been lacking those efforts...
You're choosing the best area to live in for schools, little more pricey than some other areas around town, but it's self explanatory.

All the newer hangout spots are over near glenn allen (innsbrook), and on up to short pump area (as far as night life and shopping)... Richmond area is actually pretty big, there are many sides of town.... I live just within the city on the south side of the river, near Pony Pasture Rapids.

There's also plenty of stuff to do downtown, all depends on what you're into. If you want some family activities, there's a Children's Museum near Dave and Buster's, and one downtown also, and the Zoo is decent.

Anywho, that's enough info to get you going, anything else just ask, somebody on here can help.

Good deal! Fiancé (wow that's weird to say) works up near Glen Allen. Like Mikey said, it's a bit on the pricier side of town. Be aware of REI up there, I can walk around and spend in the store like no other.

Make no mistake, when the company is done paying my way I'm out of this side of town. I need room to stretch my legs and I'm poor! Looking to get a place with an acre or two, maybe even a bit more.
