youd be surprised how much dust there is in sand. The whole front of my truck has a decent layer of dust after im out at the beach for the day.

Ive been going to the dunes for almost 20 years and my airbox gets zero sand in it. If you have ever been to the dunes you would know that would catch sand overnight while you sleep. I understand what you are saying but my intake goes into the fender, which rarely fills with anything because I never go in deep water or mud. Dust will make it into my air filter, but not sand. The two of us understand how your situation would benefit a snorkel, please dont try and tell me the climate I live in and driving I do that a snorkel would be a benefit to me
