You get any new leaf bolts with the kit? Or just gonna resue the stock ones?

Only bolts I can think of you'd need excerpts of other then the center bolts and you have those.

Yeah, read up how to get the old leaf spring bushings out of the frame. Seems to be a few different methods and was the probably the biggest PITA of the whole process (for me anyway ). Also (as best you can) check if the new bushings will fit. Mine didn't and I ended up having to whittle them down with a knife. But like I said, little BS things like that could be done in the mean time.

I put a call in to Cruiser Outfitters because on the invoice there were supposed to be new leaf bolts but I don't see any.

But I did get an exhaust bracket which is something I don't need, as discussed.

I wonder if they erroneously put the exhaust bracket in there and forgot the bolts.

Unless what I think are the center bolts are actually the rear leaf bolts listed here. I wonder if the center bolts are already in the leaf packs :notsure:

The greaseable shackles should come with new bolts that are drilled and have a zerk fitting on one end. At least mine did.

I think this is the one you have

They did. There were bolts in the box. Are those the ones Monte's talking about?

I should probably look at a diagram of an OME suspension, eh?

Oh yea right Jon. Those aren't so bad with some sockets.

The center bolts are in the leafs man. They are holding them together haha. But to add the AAL you need new ones. Can just get em at the parts store.

Oddly enough, I think the top shackle bolts have been the easiest bolts to take off haha

Looks like I will have to drill out the hole of the AAL in order for the center bolts to fit through.

I've read Adam and others had to do the same thing.

Weird that OME's AAL would be too small a diameter for OME's center bolts.

Maybe the AALs are primarily meant to be used/designed for OEM leaf packs? :notsure:

I just noticed that three of these plastic liners (forgive me I have no idea what they're called) are cracked/damaged.

I searched many photos of Dakar leafs on trucks and all of them had these same pieces fully intact.

Is this something I should be concerned with? Like I said, between the two leaf packs there are three of these things that are damaged.

Pretty sure that looks like a shipping clip..a retaining clip should be out of metal and is around only the top portion of the leafs

Mine had damage like that when I received them. It's not a problem, just aesthetic damage.
