    Anyone need a windshield installed? I just met a guy off Craigslist about my age (early 20s) for 125 he did a bangup job! I've got his cards/info. Also ordered a door handle for baby taco!

    Agreed. This is what caused me to redo my suspension in the first place. Thought I was going to die on bumpy interstate in curves going 70 mph.

    Interesting. I had no issues with my setup. With stock leafs and leaking shocks I have ran 80+ down some gravel roads fine and hit the freeway just fine. Hell with the ORI's up front I was intentionally hitting 35mph corners at 50+.

    With my LT leaf packs and no shocks I did the same thing. Hell I had Mark with me the one time and we hit 90 down a gravel road and I had no issues doing 80 on the freeway. Whoops and big speedbumps sucked dick though... Small bumps were no issue though.

    Hell i almost jump lanes as it is with bad rear shocks on the interstate haha


    with the LT setup im not surprised. Low spring rate.

    Who knows, could be the 2nd gen geometery is smoother :notsure:

    I don't tow, but my natural load is pretty damn heavy as it is. I was supposed to get a lot of lift out of the DMZ kit and I got none... I weigh as much as Bob (Nyco) and Steve (woodnick) weigh when fully loaded with an RTT on the bed, and I pack pretty light. I attribute a lot of my extra weight to my rear bumper. The whole thing is 1/4" and fucking heavy. I couldn't weigh it because I was afraid it would break my scale but I wouldn't be surprised if it's over 200lbs.

    Anyway, my point here is that unless you have noticed a difference with your leaking shocks, I wouldn't bother spending money on another pair that are probably going to just leak, which again, I think your leaking still stems from shocks not being the right length for your leafpack...

    Well I guess that answers my question lol.

    I agree with monte tho. Making a custom cross bar for the shocks would allow you to mount them in which ever way gives you the most most performance for how you want to build the truck, and you could use heims in the shocks which would be better than bushings in the stock location, which do suck.

    Thanks again man! The shocks are perfect. I know everyone was saying 12s would be better (caugh monte) but like I said dropped out I'm like less than a half inch from 12" or exposed shaft. I I ran a 7" shackle for instance I would have over extended them.

    And well, you're a god damn bro with your DB lift. What do you expect :D
    We really did 90 with Zach? Hmm. I wasn't paying attention. Right on.

    And I drove the truck without shocks for a day before I got everything painted, I didn't even hit the highway and that was one interesting ride lol. Just bounced and swayed everywhere. Pretty funny. But then again we have slightly offer emt suspension

    When you didn't have the shocks in, was that still when the creepers were in the wrong spot? haha

    May try a 4wd swaap only planning on being up here for 1 more winter anyways...ill probably be somewhere else this winter anyway.

    Kicked the idea of doing a 4wd swap if I could get the parts (different hubs cvs drives haft and tcase) cheap enough. ..

    I pocked 2500 got a newer truck with 30k less miles and pwr windows.

    That 4cyl auto 4wd was...gutless. .lol

    See this is why I'm building a rock crawler. I couldn't do 90 if I tried . So wrong platform

    And he creepers were fixed by then, I was just painting it and didnt have time to finish and was too lazy to put the shocks on and take em off again

    once it's all done the only limmitation i have on being expo is range due to less fuel econamy so i just pack a trailer with extra fuel and theres my place for extra gear too. though i plan on doing snow expo. Washington for the win.

    I had a thought and I wonder if the stability difference comes from the inverted shackles, that's the difference that holds true to both of my setups and differs from all of you guys.

    not gonna lie ive always loved north idaho this pic kinda gives me a chub.

    you sir are wrong very wrong we have nothing like the forests of the north and i do love them. nothing better than picking your way through a thick tree line just to have to drive up some big ass grannit ledge..

    You don't. I have cascade and McCall 2 hours north.
    Though I've never really wheeled up there.
