There is no end to trying to make women happy. One minute they are beaming with joy, the next they are half a gallon into a Häagen-Dazs bucket crying over the last episode of Friends.

Lol cant argue that part. But it's a fine line, you have to be around someone that you enjoy making happy, when you make them happy it makes you happy

I just kinda lucked out that she isn't really a girly girl. She'd rather put on crappy clothes and go wrench on cars then dress up and go out to eat.

Funny thing is girls think that is not attractive, when actually the opposite. Girls that can get dirty are the best

I prefer the opposite, had the girls that like to get dirty. Problem with that is they are always around, prefer to go to my think tank (aka the garage) alone. Daddy needs his alone time.:)

Yeah but I never have to hear the following from my wife:

1: Why are you spending so much time on your truck?
2: Why did you buy that for your truck?
3: Do you really just want to work on your truck tonight?
4: You spent HOW MUCH on that for your truck?!!?!?!?
5: Why do you spend so much time on TW?

Now that she is picking up her 4 Runner today the only argument we will have is "I get the garage today!"

You also aren't married. It's different when she is your wife vs. your girlfriend. Or you just lucked out with a good girl.

I see some people on TW post about their GF's of 3 months getting all pissed about truck time vs. their time. I always tell them 'RUN AWAY!'. It isn't going to get any better with those types of women if you put a ring on it.

A good woman should support her husbands hobbies that make him happy. We support their make-up, shoes, and clothes, which for some girls cost more than modding a Tacoma.

    Edit: Hammerman?

Yes, marriage does change it a little, I mean the best would be for it to stay the same with the added benefits of combined income and benefits. Granted my ex and I were together for close to 3 years, living with each other for 2 of those 3, but I definitely hear you on that. It's all about finding that balance. Gotta find that right dynamic.

Yeah hammers, wtf happened to him?

As a single guy I am looking a for a girl that wants a little adventure in their life. It doesn't even have to be 100% outdoors. For the few of you that know me on a personal level know that I enjoy trying new things and go to new places. I love going to new restaurants and trying new food or going out to new breweries. Once a month I try to go to somewhere I haven't been before in AZ and once a week I try to try something new around town. Just the willingness to try something they haven't done for is something I love.

One of the most fun dates I've been on was a girl I was seeing casually and we went out to downtown and pretended to be different people. We came up with new names, occupations, back stories the whole nine yards and a goal to meet 10 people with our new person we came up with together.

My girl complains sometimes but I just raise my hand and she shuts up.... keep that pimp hand strong hahaha
but seriously she is my girlfriend but we are going on 7 years so I am not worried. She gives me my free time but she will come and sit next to me outside while I work on my shit. I rebuilt a 65 vw bug for months while she just hung out, painted her nails, handed me tools and what not. Although she does bust balls about being on tacomaworld hahaha
