And was one of the reason's I actually kept following this thread. Lots of good info, ideas, and dipshit and douchbag free.

Don't see how my comment was bickering?

Just to be clear it was a generalization about people on welfare, probably an unfair one, but it was not about any race, class, or ethnicity. But I see your point, and I agree with you it wasn't bickering, it was just replying to a conversation I started.

Eh it being a RTT thread i expected to see Tepui/CVT debates, its natural.

Idk if it was bickering, but for me the thread for the most part had remained really clean, good ideas circulating as well. Every now and again however the mayhem will come.

things just tend to go downhill quickly when someone makes on offhanded remark...its happened before and will happen again. that much we can count on.

LOL wth just happened in here?

Anyway, I have a real question. I've mounted my RTT on top of my bed rack and it sits a little higher than the cab. How much, if any does it affect how much I can wheel off-camber? I mean, I don't like to wheel off-camber, but you know, it happens. Big deal? Not a big deal? It depends?

How off-camber are we talking? Got a pic of the set up?

I really don't notice a huge difference and my tent sits a little higher than cab. Monte (blackdawg) hit some pretty interesting situations on the wyo trip and his sits a tad higher than the cab as well.

    I enjoy watching CVT/Tepui debates.

Both are great tents, but whichever that person has is obviously better than everybody elses apparently

Honestly I see it from just a few certain people that always knock on people that have CVT for some reason....

I don't really get the debates, I was trying to sell Tepui, but I would have had no issue buying a CVT if I wasn't lol.

Haha yeah, that's understandable. If you're selling them then of course you'd advertise your own brand. But I haven't seen you say anything against CVT either
    Haha no

Those are actually a cool idea. Couple spots on either side of the tent to clip one of those hanging baskets for shoes or whatever or the ends of tarp. It's a bonus that using just two of them allows you to lock the tent.
