OK thanks, I was thinking it was part of the ds cause there's one like it on the back side that looks like it's attached to the yoke & around the hole of the ring it has shiny metal with a slight lip making it look like it was attached.

 

Now to figure out how it all goes back together.

Now i might actually forget. Have to wait till tomorrow to get the proper silicone and some vvti oil filters that go inside the cam housings. This sucks. I wanted to get this thing back together and possibly back in the car by tonight.

 

whats the best way to know if your wheel bearings are shot?

i've heard u jack it up, and grab ur tire at like 10 and 2 and try to see if there is excess play

also, i heard a scraping sound, like metal on metal

 

A into b
C into d
B goes to e
D goes to f.
Simple..

 

Jack up your frontend and see if you have any play in it when you shake it up and down

Jack up the wheel, put your hand on the spring and rotate the tire. If it feels rough (through the spring) when you turn it then the bearing is probably bad.

I would like to thank OPD for taking an hour to show up after I reported my motorcycle stolen. Apparently citing someone for doing 36 in a 30 was more important than vehicle theft. I would also like to thank the officer for informing me that my "bike is probably in someone's garage by now"." No shit. I left my house at 9:30pm, my neighbor got home at 10:35 and my bike was still there. When I arrived at 10:42, it was gone. And I know there was an officer in the area because I passed 2 sitting at the complex across the street on my way home.

 

K9cop is ok though. This isn't directed at him.
