    My wife has been starting to workout watching a jillian michaels DVD and using 5lb weights. It's a mix between strength and cardio. It has 3 different levels. She's been drinking my mp combat but she says it makes her feel bloated. She drinks it through a straw, and I don't know if that has anything to do with it. She is looking online for I guess either a fat burner that doesn't have caffeine bc she doesn't want the jitters or I guess a different protein. We think she is lactose intolerant too and she has been drinking it with regular skim milk. We used to but her lactose intolerant milk but she quit buying it and said she can just drink skim like I drink. What kind of fat burner or protein or whatever you guys thinks would be best for her. She had been put on the Mediterranean diet as well so we've both been eating that which I'm losing weight and I don't want to

    Wait, does she want a fat burner or protein lol? They do two different things.

    For the protein, I'd try mixing regular whey protein with water to see if that helps. If not, try soy protein. Also, a lot of people get crappy-feeling when drinking protein shakes during their workouts; that's why most people wait until afterwards and just drink water during their workouts. I don't think drinking it through a straw, sippy cup, or anything is going to affect how it settles in her stomach lol.

    now, onto fat burners: all they do is increase your heart rate, which leads to more calories burned. They used to (some still do) contain ephedrine to increase your heart rate, but it's been banned, so now caffeine is used. Pretty much, a fat burner is a caffeine pill lol. Some fat burners have other things they do, such as appetite suppression, etc., but the most effective way to burn fat is bust ass in the gym and eat at a caloric deficit.

    Also, we had a Ducks Unlimited banquet last night (pretty much a big fundraiser to preserve duck hunting land. They raffle and auction off guns, furniture, paintings, etc. Of course, the only thing I walked away with was a fucking shirt.) Anyway, with our tickets, we got a free meal. Big ass ribeye and a baked potato! It was glorious. I wish I could eat steak err'day. Legs this afternoon. I'm going to destroy those muthafukkas!

    Look for some vegan protein. She could try green tea extract but its not really a "fat burner". the best fat burner would be a 'clean' diet and exercise but you probably know that already.

    I did legs last night. I tried out squat pauses... squat untill paralel, hold for 2 seconds then back up. Much harder than just down-n-up.
